Lingle Has Finally Gone to Far

  • Mainland born Linda Lingle has sold out the people of Hawai'i in order to advance her political career.

  • She's withheld funds the Legislature set aside for programs benefiting the residents.

  • She "releases funds" only to aid her arm-twisting of legislators. The Legislature votes the funds. Lingle withholds them and then she lets the funds loose only for those legislators who get on board with her special interest legislation. (Meanwhile issuing a press release making it look like she, not the Legislature, funded the project.)

  • Lingle shoveled our money to neocon business buddies of the Republican Bigwigs, while our public housing languishes with leaking roofs, our DLNR officers are overstretched, our police are under funded, our schools are in disrepair, neighbor island parks and roads are falling apart and neglected.
